"Kaotik" is registered with NZCF and Catz Inc., and situated in the heart of Waikato horse country, also home to many talented athletes - Cambridge, New Zealand.

Our passion with Orientals and Siamese began in 1999 when we brought home "Hershey", a Havana Oriental and the foundation Queen of Kaotik. We were captivated by her purrsonality, so different to all other cats we had known. Encouraged to show her, I didn't need much persuading to try Hershey with a litter. As they say the rest is history. What a blessing that and each subsequent litter has been. Mix elegance and grace with curiosity, mischief and purrsonality, and you get the always delightful and entertaining Oriental Shorthair.

They have truly stolen our hearts and taken over our lives, sometimes a little "kaotik" but always a whole bunch of fun.

Over the years we have added to our cat numbers. The type, temperaments, colours and patterns of our cats has created many exciting possibilities. Their ancestral lineage can be traced back through the generations. With English, European, American, Australian and New Zealand lines in our cats we have a substantial gene pool to work with. Every kitten goes to their new home with a 5 generation pedigree.

At Kaotik we only feed prime quality food encompassing a variety of fresh meats as well as other foods high in protein, calcium and other nutrients, and we balance this with super premium cat biscuits. Diet is the life blood of good health. There is a strong and logical connection to a full biscuit diet and many of the life threatening diseases that affect cats. Common medical problems associated with dry food:

Our focus is to selectively breed healthy, happy, typey cats loaded with character and 'purrsonality'. We continually strive to improve upon 'purrfection' with each generation surpassing the next.
